Window types covered

  • Outward-opening side-hung casement (open-out), single sash
  • WK100 — sash and frame with a European C-groove
  • WK200 — profile without a hardware groove

Profile and groove conditions

  • WK100 seats the transmission rod and locking plates in the European C-groove of the sash and frame.
  • WK200 fits the same functions to a groove-free profile: locking plates and shim are fixed to the sash face.
  • The sash weight is carried by two friction stays, so the stay specification sets the window limit.

The information below is what the window maker needs before cutting rods or drilling the profile.

Before you cut or drill

  • Assembly drawings are reproduced from catalogue pp. 29 (WK100) and 31 (WK200); numbers on the drawing match the hardware sets above.
  • Friction stays are ordered by sash size and carry the full sash weight, so the stay selection defines the maximum sash.
  • The catalogue notes that different stay sizes have different load ratings; the stay series lists the sizes and limits.

We confirm the groove position, handing and locking points before the set ships. Add the catalogue codes you already use, and we will check them against the current set.
