Crescent locks

Crescent locks for sliding windows and doors. The catalogue makes them in handed and unhanded versions: a handed lock points left or right and cannot be swung over, an unhanded one can be set either way by turning the crescent.

Models, codes and parameters

Codes are printed exactly as in the catalogue, so a repeat order can be matched line by line. Parameters are the ones the catalogue gives for each model; where the catalogue gives no figure, the cell is left out rather than estimated.

Selection notes

What to check before ordering

These notes come from the catalogue pages named above and from the fitting information printed with the same family.

  • Check the sash stile width against the body length: the selection runs from 68 to 100 mm, so a narrow stile needs the shorter body.
  • Order handed locks in pairs when a window has both a left and a right sliding sash.
  • The screw centres in the table are the two fixing holes on the baseplate, as printed on each drawing.
